Fire marshal courses in London

What does the course cover?

  • We cover the same topics as our fire extinguisher course in the morning sessions
  • Fire marshals daily responsibilities – Delegates will take part in a hazard spotting session viewing our fires can start or spread in a building
  • Staff fire training and fire drills – We take a look at statutory requirements of employees in the workplace
  • Procedures during a fire – This session looks at fire alarm systems, evacuation strategies and accounting methods. Delegates join in and discuss the most appropriate accounting methods for their sites
  • Fire emergency plans – What is in a fire emergency plan? We take a look at London Fire Brigades explicit requirements of organisations fire plans
  • Disabled fire procedures – We look at what we need to consider before and during an evacuation involving disabled persons
  • Evacuation – Points to remember when carrying out an evacuation of a building
