150 people evacuated from Royal Marsden Hospital – 21st March

!50 people were evacuated of a strong smell of smoke at The Royal Marsden hospital. The smoke was created by building work being carried out nearby. Firefighters ventillated the building.

Readers are reminded that all staff need to be aware of procedures in healthcare premises. Fire marsahl courses in London maybe suitable for evacuating non essential staff and visitors, but all staff should be aware of progressive horizontal evacuation, delayed evacuation and evacuating disabled persons procedures.
